You know when you have a great thought to create a product, and you can see the end result, but to convey that thought is an art.

You will need to compile a budget and a projection of what you anticipate all your earnings and costs to be. If you could imagine going to the bank and asking them to finance the project, then all you would need to give them would be what you should be offering someone else who would be putting money into the project. Consider if it is worth employing an accountant to produce professional budget, projections and any statistics you might need.

You will need to trust people with your ideas and sometimes paying for a professional could make you a far bigger profit. Consider getting somebody involved who has no interest in the project, and listen when they say that it doesnt make any sense. It might be the way you are telling them the idea, and then you could need to be getting someone to put the theory into an understandable format.

Many a web site has gone to the proverbial Internet graveyard because of poor or non existent navigation, and that is no way to run a business. This article will give you some basic tips on navigation that will make your site one that people will enjoy coming to and not get lost at in the process.

The first thing you need to know, is just what navigation is. Navigation is the term used to describe how a visitor gets from one page of your site to another. Now, if you have a one page web site, this doesnt usually apply unless you have anchor links on the page that take people to various parts of that page. Normally though, navigation applies to sites with multiple pages. The more pages you have, the more tricky navigation becomes.

Navigation needs to be looked at the way you would look at the table of contents in a book. If you were to go to any table of contents, youd see a page number next to each chapter name. That way, you could easily jump to that chapter in order to read it. This is especially useful with technical books where you may only need the details for a specific procedure.

Well, web design is no different. Lets say you had a site on health products and you decided that you wanted to have a main page to greet people, a page with the products you promote, another page with articles that address health related issues and finally a page for people to contact you at if they were to have any questions. Now, this is a very simple web site, but it still can easily illustrate the point.

The navigation should be simple and clear. The most common forms of navigation are either menus that go across the top of the web page or menus that go down either the right or left side. That way, there is no way that you can foul this up as you are simply taking the same HTML shell code and using it for each page. All you need to do is change the content.

Also, make sure that the links to each page are large enough to be seen and attractive looking. You want your navigation to look as interesting as the rest of your site.

In this third of a four part series to give you an idea, making money quick on the Internet, were going to touch on a method that very few people are aware of. It has to do with forum participation and its something that I see is becoming very popular with many forums. Its called the special offer. In this article, well give you the basics on what a special offer is and how to come up with your own, as well as a couple of places where you can make these special offers.

Forums are places where people hang out to get information and help each other. They are actually small, and sometimes large communities where people get together. They become quite a close nit bunch, so when going to a forum for the first time, you need to make sure that you dont go busting in there like a bull in a China shop.

So just what are these special offers and how do you make one? Well, each forum is different, but for the most part, a special offer is one that is for forum members only. Usually it has to be a product or service that is yours exclusively. The special offer is selling that product or service at a reduced price for forum members. So lets say you have an ebook that normally sells to the public for $97. You can do a half off special offer for the forum members for $48.50, or something like that. Most forums will require that this offer not be available to anyone outside the forum.

Okay, I know what youre thinking. What if you dont have anything to offer? Not everybody has their own product. Not a problem. See, its really not hard to come up with something to sell, even if its not for a lot of money. Connecting to Your Virtual Dedicated Server Using Cpanel

For those who are not yet familiar with dedicated server. This article is for newbie as reference how you can access your virtual dedicated server. I encounter this problem when I was new also at dedicated server.

This procedures only covered cpanel users, will try to discuss other control pannel script on other days.

1. Open your web browser and type https://ipaddress:2087. ipaddress is provided to you by your host.
2. When the WebHost Manager login prompt displays, enter root as your user name.
   Enter the password you defined when you set up your virtual dedicated server account. Click OK.
3. When you log in for the first time, WebHost Manager walks you through a wizard to help you set up your server. Under the Welcome to Web Host Manager section on the left, click Next.
4. The End-User License Agreement for cPanel displays on the right. Review the license agreement and click I Agree.
5. The Edit Setup page displays. This is where you configure the basic setup for your server. In the Server Contact E-Mail Address section, enter an administrative email address for this server.
6. In the Main Shared Virtual Host IP section, enter the default IP address for your server. Typically, this is the same IP you used to connect to your WebHost Manager.
7. In the Hostname section, enter the primary domain name for your server. This needs to be a fully qualified domain name that you own. In this example we use “coolexample.com.”
8. Under the Primary Namserver and Secondary Namserver sections, type ns1. yourdomainnamehere.com and ns2. yourdomainnamehere.com, where yourdomainnamehere.com is the primary domain for your server. For example, ns1.coolexample.com and ns2.coolexample.com.
9. Keep the other default settings that WebHost Manager created for you, and click Save at the bottom of the page.
10. Keep following the instruction Untill youre done setting up basic configuration of your new virtual server.

Email advertising, in spite of what many people think, is not dead. However, the art of writing effective email ad copy seems to be dying a slow death.

Seems that most of the email ads I get in my in box are nothing but junk and very poorly written. Also, the subjects like Youve Been Paid are really ticking people off because when they open them and realize that they havent been paid, they just chuck them in the trash in anger.

You want your subjects to be original, not full of hype, but interesting. Dont be afraid to use subjects like Theres Something About Your Site That You MUST Know People are going to wonder. What is it about my site? Is there a problem with it? Did I do something wrong? Is it even still on the Internet? These kind of subjects are going to invoke curiosity without resorting to hype or outright deceptive headlines. Be original but be honest.

In the body of your email you dont want to hit people with a sales pitch right away. You want to take some time for them to get to know you. Tell them your story. Heck, start them off with a joke. Dont be so darn serious all the time. You know what they say, you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. Keep it light, but get the point across.

One very big problem that people have when writing email ad copy is that they dont pay attention to spam trigger words. You cant load up your emails with words and phrases like make money or guaranteed income. So obviously, it is beyond the scope of this article to teach you everything there is to know about SEO. Instead, were going to focus on one part of SEO and hopefully give you some tips that will be of use to you and improve your SEO strategy over the long haul.

One of the things that people seem to forget is that SEO is not just what you do on your web page. Yes, you have to make sure your meta tags are optimized and that you use header tags and format your links properly, making sure you have links from each page of your site going to other pages, but SEO is more than just what you do to the pages of your site. SEO is also about what we call off page SEO. These are things that you do that have nothing to do with making changes to your web pages themselves. Were going to point out what some of these things are.

One of these things is getting inbound links. These are links that are on other peoples pages that point to your page. The more inbound links you have, the higher up the search engines you go, especially if these inbound links are on pages with high PR numbers. Okay, we should probably go over what a PR number is, at least briefly, so you understand why this is important.

A PR number is a number that Google assigns to a web page. This number is a relative indication of how important that page is to the keywords it is targeting. A page with no relevance will have a PR of 0. A page with the highest relevance will have a PR of 10. So ideally, you want as many links as you can on these higher PR pages. Now, getting them is not so easy.

The more relevant pages are going to want something in return for putting your link on their page. Theyre either going to want you to link to their site and be an equally ranked page, or if youre not, theyre going to want you to pay through the nose for the privilege of linking to your site. So, like I said, it isnt easy.

The best way to go about getting inbound links is to write articles. Some of the top article directories on the Internet have pretty high PR numbers. E-zine Articles is one site that comes to mind. Their PR number is somewhere around 7. So, if you submit your articles to their site and get links pointing back to yours, you should start to see a gradual rise in your rankings. Of course, you are going to need more inbound links than just E-zine Articles to really move your site up.

Getting inbound links is a very time consuming but important practice. If you take the time to do it properly, you will definitely see your site climbing up the search engine rankings.

There are a lot of scams floating around the Internet for sure, but in defense to paid surveys, theyre not scams.

Theyre just not very good for earning any kind of real income on the Internet. Well, I thought it was about time that somebody set the record straight about these paid survey sites and the programs that sell information on paid survey sites. I think after reading this, scam or not, youll probably want very little to do with doing paid surveys online.

First off, let me explain just what paid surveys are for those who havent heard of them yet. Paid surveys are just as they sound. You sign up with a site and they send you a survey on some topic. It could be your shopping habits, your job, your dating preferences and a number of various topics. For each survey that you fill out, the company will pay you for doing so. On paper, this sounds really great. However, the reality of these surveys is a different matter altogether.

For starters, you just dont get to take a survey. You have to first qualify for them. To do this, you have to fill out a questionnaire, which sometimes even longer than the survey you have to take. This questionnaire will ask you things like your age, sex and employment status. After you fill in the questionnaire, you will then get a message informing you of whether or not you even qualify for the survey. And therein lies the rub of this whole business.

When I first got online, paid surveys was one of the first things I tried. I quickly learned that many of the surveys are geared towards people other than myself. In other words, I didnt qualify. I spend countless hours filling out questionnaires and never even got to take a survey. It was quite frustrating. Finally, when I did qualify for a survey and took it, what I got paid was a joke. And therein lies the final rub on surveys.

Each survey site has a different pay structure so this will have to be a general description. For the most part, the payment is about $5 for a survey that takes about 30 to 60 minutes to complete. Sometimes its as little as $2 and some sites dont pay you in money at all. What they do is give you what they call credits.

Sometimes the credits they give you are quite considerable, on the surface. But then you go to cash them in and you see the exchange rate from credits to cash is something like 1000 credits gets you $10. Usually it takes about 10 surveys to make those 1000 credits. When you compute the number of hours it took you to make that $10 it comes out to less than $1 per hour. Yes, its pretty bad.

Technically, you can make money with paid surveys, so they arent technically a scam. However, the amount of work that goes into doing this is considerably more than you are going to make, and that is if you even qualify for the surveys. In the meantime, youre receiving all this junk email of offers because of being signed up with these sites, which is the real reason they want you in the first place.

So, if youre looking to make any kind of decent money online, stay away from paid survey sites.
